Honestly had a wonderful time from start to finish. The crew on board were very attentive and super flexible with how... we wanted to structure our time on the yacht. Yasmin was very welcoming. Overall great day would recommend booking if looking for a private and personal experience for both small or large groups. The only caveat was at the very end - when we had tipped the staff. Only one person in our group spoke Spanish and one of the crew members told him that what we tipped was quite low. From my understanding tipping is always customary and a reflection on what you feel is appropriate. As the UK doesn't really have a tipping culture, I understand why your expectations were low if your American counterparts tip very generously. This experience was an absolute 10/10! I would absolutely RECOMMEND!We had a party of 15 and rented the 70ft Fairline... Squadron. The boat was huge with more than enough room for our party. The crew were absolutely outstanding. They kept the drinks flowing and the food coming the entire charter. (Everything was delicious, but the burritos were my favorite.) I honestly can't speak enough about the crew, they were really really great!Jessica, their communications specialist via WhatsApp, is also phenomenal. She answered each question and got each detail perfect for our trip. Our yacht experience with Riviera Charters was outstanding from beginning to end. My friends and I traveled to Cancun... in mid January 2023 to celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. We wanted to book a private yacht for 4-6 hrs on a Saturday for 10 people. Let me start with the customer service delivered by Jessica. As soon as I inquired about availability and pricing, she responded immediately and answered all my many questions without delay. Even sometimes after hours. She was extremely accommodating and offered everything you can think of to make a birthday or any occasion special from custom cakes, DJ, balloon packages, menu prepared by a chef onboard, premium liquors, photographer etc. The crew were excellent. They greeted us with drinks, waited on us from the time we stepped on the boat to the time we returned! The chef Joseline freshly prepared ceviche, guacamole and fajita tacos were muy deliciosos! 😋 And the surprise chocolate cake was divine. 🎂We had an issue with one of the services and Jessica went above and beyond to resolve it to our satisfaction. Wow! Amazing yacht experience! We booked a girls birthday party and could not have had a better day! Eddie and his crew... made our entire weekend trip with this experience. From the pick up at our hotel to getting to the dock, walking up to the decorated boat and then non stop specialty drinks, food, music, service! The service was unmatched. From beginning to end this experience was beyond amazing! Each one of the people involved give us a 5 star plus... service. Eddie, Gary, Chef Jorge and Captain Juan took on an amazing yacht tour!! It is hard to beat the level of service they... offered. The food was incredibly fresh. Chef Jorge's guacamole needs to be bottled and sold for mass production. Eddie's and Gary's service was by far the best part. Communication was easy. 5 stars does not do this crew justice. This was absolutely the best incredible experience of my life! I rented a yacht for my 30th birthday and it was truly... such an unreal experience. Had such a great time with our Cancun Yacht Rental! The communication from start to finish with booking to the day that... we arrived at the marina was A1 and exceptional. I’ve done many boat rentals on vacation but this was the first time that we had a chef on board for providing us with our snacks and meals vs pre made meals. Very nice charter, the crew was wonderful, the food was wonderful and the drinks were perfect! This was our first time... renting a yacht in Cancun and we will absolutely do it again! Jessica, our initial contact, was very pleasant and very helpful. We had some concerns about the first day we picked with regard to the expected weather, and, since they had some other open days, she was extremely accommodating in helping us pick another day that forecasted better weather conditions. Just know that the weather in Cancun is very unpredictable and can be very different just a couple miles apart. Overall, Andres, Miguel, Rosario, Jorge and Oscar were all very helpful, very attentive and very concerned about our comfort, safety, and overall experience. Our hostess Miss Magda, was also delightful. Very, very positive experience and would highly recommend! A little understanding of Spanish is also very helpful. Can’t wait to go back!read more

I booked 2 catamarans for my wedding guests. I had been working on this for about a month prior and Jessica was great... with all of her communication from beginning to end. I ask a lot of questions and she never got tired of answering them.We had 3 shuttles that picked us up and dropped us off on time. The boat ride was amazing! The boats were clean and spacious. From start to end Jessica was able to help me coordinate the whole day trip. I was skeptical at the beginning I’m not... going to lie, but she made it easier we end up renting the yacht. WOW! What an experience. A+++++ The service was fantastic! The crew, supervisor did everything in their hands to make... sure it was a great one and it was definitely the best! We all had such a great time and zero complaints. One our friends had lost her bag with money in it and was not sure if it was left on the boat or taxi. Really amazing experience! Everyone was very accommodating especially for vegetarian food options and had a chef on... board. The drinks were delicious and the crew were very attentive and refilled drinks without us asking. The boat was very spacious for 7 of us and could definitely fit more. This company is absolutely AMAZING...like literally perfect. From the food cooked by our personal chef, the crew... members who sailed with us, and even the booking lady who helped my group and I book the trip in advance before we came to Mexico. What an incredible day we had on the yacht! We booked very last minute & were not expecting much, but boy were we... wrong! The most beautiful, pristine yacht showed up with an amazing crew. We were greeted by Carina, Jose, Chef Sandy & Captain Roberto. We were showered with amazingly delicious food the entire time! Fresh guacamole, several different amazing ceviches, meat & cheese platter, nachos, fresh fruit, and we even bought some fresh lobster when we were out that they cooked up for us & it was absolutely amazing!! The crew & service were impeccable & we are already planning our next trip back to use this service again! We highly recommend adding a jetski to your rental, they was a ton of fun & a nice little break off the boat. All around an amazing day with excellent service & care! They were on top of our every need, had a fresh drink ready before my last one was done and so accommodating to our every wish. I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience!! We brought our six children (all teens!!) on the yacht and... had the absolute best time! What stood out the most about this yacht rental was the service of the staff that assisted us. We had the pleasure of... working with Chef Sandy & Alejandro during our charter. Sandy was very helpful with drinks and food — the tacos were great!! They even made taco options for my sister who is vegetarian. Alejandro was always there to make sure we were safe and assisted. He worked very hard to help us which made us feel safe. They were the best part of the trip (besides the beautiful view!!). The staff that helped coordinate the rental was also very helpful — I suggest utilizing WhatsApp to communicate and book vs. email as they respond almost immediately via the app.I rented the 48ft Azimut for my charter. I really liked the SkyDeck as it was perfect for photos. The yacht was spacious and had more than enough room for my family (6 people total).The only reason I gave 4/5 starts was I will mention there were a few details that influenced the overall experience: the cabins/bedrooms on board were extremely dirty (we did not plan to use the bed areas but noticed when going to the bathrooms that the bed linens/comforter were not clean and had stains). The boat also needed some repairs/upkeep to the carpet, as well as the windows/railings on one side and front of the yacht (there was tape in various areas around windows/glass and missing screws on the left side railing which made it very unstable to use for balance), all of which I communicated to the charter company after our charter.We also rented a white jet ski for two hours as part of our charter which halfway through stopped working. I am unsure who the rental company partnered with the provide the jet ski, but Alejandro and Sandy worked diligently to ensure we were safe. The gentleman that met us to take us to the yacht ensured we were refunded for one hour of the jet ski rental. Sandy and Alejandro even communicated to another jet ski company while we were out in the water to bring a new jet ski out for us to ride before sailing back to the dock. They did everything they could to fix the issue.The issues listed above I don’t feel were in the charter company’s complete control and was moreso the owner of the yacht and jet skis responsibility. I would recommend this company and plan to use them again.read more
